Frequent Questions
Have questions about our mobile blood draw services? We’ve answered the most common ones below to help you understand how Preferred Home Phlebotomy works and what to expect.
01. What is Preferred Home Phlebotomy?
Preferred Home Phlebotomy is a mobile blood draw service that sends licensed phlebotomists to your home, office, or care facility to collect lab specimens and deliver them directly to your doctor’s preferred lab.
02. What areas do you serve?
We proudly serve all of Palm Beach County—from Jupiter to Boca Raton.
03. Who is this service ideal for?
Our service is perfect for:
• Individuals with limited mobility or transportation
• Seniors and retirees
• Busy professionals
• Patients in ALFs, SNFs, or rehab centers
• Anyone who values the convenience of at-home lab services
04. Is the service covered by insurance?
Clients are responsible for the blood draw and specimen drop-off fees. However, the lab work itself is typically covered by your provider-ordered lab and billed to your insurance.
05. What’s your service guarantee?
Your satisfaction is our priority. If there’s any issue on our end, a licensed technician will return and repeat the draw at no additional cost.
06. Are your phlebotomists licensed?
Yes. All our phlebotomists are licensed and highly experienced—rarely requiring more than one attempt to complete a draw.
07. How quickly are specimens dropped off?
Within the hour of collection, Monday through Saturday (holidays excluded).
08. How will I know my specimen was delivered?
You’ll receive a text confirmation either from the designated laboratory or directly from us once your specimen has been dropped off.
09. Do you offer credit or payment plans?
We do not offer credit at this time. Payment is required before drop-off.
10. What types of lab orders do you handle?
We accommodate both routine and STAT orders, delivering them to the lab specified by your ordering physician.
